Dokodemo IMS
A 3GPP-compliant IP Multimedia Subsystem that delivers voice, video and messaging to subscribers on both wireless and fixed networks.
Overview
The Dokodemo Denwa IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) platform delivers multimedia services over IP networks, with native voice and video for LTE and 5G devices. It complies with 3GPP Releases 8 to 17 and supports VoLTE (Voice over LTE), ViLTE (Video over LTE) and VoNR (Voice over New Radio) for high-definition, low-latency communication on private cellular networks.
Dokodemo IMS lets ISPs, CLECs and enterprises run voice and messaging on their own networks. One IMS core serves subscribers on both wireless networks, such as private LTE and 5G, and fixed networks, such as fiber. It also integrates with enterprise IP-PBX systems, push-to-talk (PTT) applications and the lawful interception frameworks carriers need to meet regulatory requirements.
A framework for value-added services
Dokodemo IMS is independent of the access technology and delivers high-quality VoLTE/ViLTE and VoNR voice and video even in difficult conditions. Multi-access integration through the ePDG (evolved Packet Data Gateway) enables seamless handover between LTE, 5G NR and Wi-Fi.
Tailored to each customer, Dokodemo IMS offers advanced services including SMS over IP, media announcements, multi-party conferencing, voicemail, IP-PBX integration, mission-critical communications (MCx), lawful interception (LI), charging (CHF/PCF), and roaming and interconnection with external networks through IBCF/TrGW.
Technically, it supports SIP/SDP, RTP/RTCP for media transport and Diameter interfaces for policy and charging control, and it is optimized for low-bandwidth, high-resilience private networks.
Features
Dokodemo IMS is built in full compliance with the 3GPP specifications, including TS 23.228 for the IMS architecture and TS 24.229 for SIP signaling. It is 5G-ready with VoNR and integrates with network functions in LTE and 5G environments. It scales from edge deployments to a centralized cloud and deploys in hours.
It integrates with PBX and SIP networks for voice, video and SMS, and supports Rx/Gx for LTE and N5/N7 for 5G. Additional capabilities include eMBMS for broadcast and multicast services and support for NB-IoT devices. Supported network elements:

How it works
Dokodemo IMS is a value-added platform for ISPs, CLECs and enterprises. It supports multi-access (LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi and fixed IP access such as fiber), multi-service (voice, video, data), multi-device (handsets, desk phones, IoT) and multi-network (private, public, hybrid) operation, and integrates into any IT environment through APIs and SNMP monitoring.
It enables device-to-device calls, supports QoS prioritization through the PCRF/PCF, and provides real-time analytics for network optimization. In a typical flow, the user registers with a SIP REGISTER to the P-CSCF, is authenticated through the HSS/AUSF, and sets up a session with an INVITE and SDP negotiation.
Deployment options
Dokodemo IMS deploys to fit the requirements of your private network, with geographic redundancy and high availability (99.999% uptime).
The software-only design lowers CAPEX and scales cost-effectively, and compliance with global wireless standards ensures interoperability.
